What are Eyelash Extensions?
Eyelash Extensions are new way to extend the length and thickness of your eyelashes. They are applied on a lash-by-lash basis to your own lashes for a natural look.
How do I care for my Lash Extensions?
Care must be taken not to rub, or scratch eyes. Also any creams, eye makeup removers, lotions or cleaners containing glycols and carbonates may loosen the bond of Lash Extensions. Apply eye creams sparingly with avoidance of the lash line area.
Can I apply mascara to my Lash Extensions?
Water soluble mascara can be worn; however constant use of mascara may shorten the life-span of your lashes. Waterproof mascara is not recommended for use as it may dissolve/weaken the bond on the lashes.
How long do lash extensions last?
A full set of lash extensions should last untouched for up 2-3 weeks. However most people are so delighted with their lashes they want to keep them for longer and therefore we recommend a top up appointment every 2 or 3 weeks when needed to keep them looking perfect. For clients who would like to wear them on long term, we recommend a fresh set every 3 -4 months.
Can the lashes be removed easily?
The lashes are applied with the intention of staying in place for up to 3 weeks; therefore the removal process while easy for a professional should not be undertaken by yourself. There is a special professional remover that is a salon only product, which can remove the lashes with ease, without damaging the natural lash.
Can I use eye make-up?
Yes, eye make-up can be applied as normal however; we recommend you avoid using waterproof mascara.
Are Eyelash Extensions safe?
Yes, they are completely safe when application is undertaken by a trained professional. The bonding is extremely strong but does not touch your skin. The surrounding eye area is well protected so eliminating any potential eye or skin irritation; the eyes are closed throughout the whole procedure making the treatment relaxing.
